A trip with Mom
In the heart of the city that never sleeps
Walking distance to major attractions, restaurants & the subway
Four days of adventure — early mornings, late nights, and everything in between
Tuesday, April 21
Land in NYC, take in that first skyline view. Head to the hotel downtown and drop off bags.
Get oriented — walk the streets, feel the energy. Every block in NYC tells a different story.
The most important meal. Hit up Ess-a-Bagel or Russ & Daughters for the real deal.
Evening stroll through the cobblestone streets. Late dinner at a classic NYC spot — stay up late, soak it all in.
Wednesday, April 22
Rise early and run along the Hudson River Greenway. Nothing beats the city waking up around you.
Take the ferry from Battery Park. Visit Lady Liberty and Ellis Island — an absolute must.
Walk through the Financial District, see the Charging Bull, visit the 9/11 Memorial.
Walk across one of the most iconic bridges in the world. The Manhattan skyline view from Brooklyn is unforgettable.
The neon lights, the crowds, the energy — experience Times Square at night. Maybe catch a Broadway show?
NYC never sleeps and neither do we. Find a late-night pizza spot or diner.
Thursday, April 23
The iconic 6-mile loop through Central Park. Past Bethesda Fountain, the Reservoir, and Bow Bridge.
Museum Mile, The Met steps, or just wander the Upper West Side. Let Mom lead the way.
Quick trip across the river! Hit up The Cheesecake Factory for the legendary menu and Raising Cane's for the best chicken fingers.
Back in NYC — head to Chelsea Market for the famous Los Tacos No. 1. The best tacos you'll ever have outside of Mexico.
East Village, Lower East Side, or wherever Mom suggests. The best discoveries are unplanned.
Friday, April 24
One last round of NYC bagels. This time try a different spot — Bob's Bagels, Absolute Bagels, or wherever the craving leads.
Top of the Rock for the skyline view, a quick walk through Rockefeller Center, or revisit a favorite spot from the trip.
Pack up, say goodbye to the city. Until next time, New York.
Every great trip is measured in meals
NYC Bagels
Hand-rolled, kettle-boiled perfection. The gold standard of New York bagels since 1976.
Appetizing Store
Legendary since 1914. Lox, cream cheese, and bagels — the holy trinity of NYC breakfast.
NYC Bagels
A neighborhood favorite. Classic New York bagels done right — chewy, fresh, and massive.
Chelsea Market
The most famous tacos in NYC. Adobada, carne asada, nopal — always a line, always worth it.
New Jersey Trip
The legendary menu with 250+ items. Save room for the original cheesecake, obviously.
New Jersey Trip
The best chicken fingers in the game. Simple menu, perfect execution. Don't forget the Cane's sauce.
TBD — Mom's Pick
Can't visit New York without a proper slice. Joe's? Di Fara? Prince Street? Mom decides.
